We've posted an instructional video for installing our 9x DIY Upgrade Kit in either a FlySky TH9x or Turnigy 9x radios.

While this video is specific to the kit we sell, I think you'll find the information useful even if you bought the individual parts from other sources. It covers installing the LED backlight and the Smartieparts Programmer board, as well as other parts of the kit and also our 9x Battery Kit.

Hey Trent i wanna ask you this.
Do you know if there is a cable included with the x9 or flysky th9 transmitters for simulator programs?
i'm getting mine this afternoon and decided that i will first makes some hours on the simulator before putting my plane nose into the dutch ground.

Hey there, so yyesterday i finally tried to bind my nova with the fly sky th9x and....
I SUCCEEDED!! yeah....well almost succeeded, here's the thing.
al my channels work ok 1,2,4,5,6,7,8, but the throttle doesn't work(channel 4 as you have may noticed missing.), how is that possible?
This setting with esc and motor work just ok on my other transmitter(simple version).
I thought that maybe it does that because it stays in "mode 1" but that doesn't make sence because avery thing else indicates its channels reacts like it's standing in mode 2.
PLease someone help me out here because i really wanna use this beatiful machine.

Also... that "Mode 1" you are seeing is probably FlySky's bad way of saying "model 1" referring to the model memory, not the mode setup.

that i didn't thought of that, off course!!
by the way , i will order the smartieparts set soon especially the batt pack because it looses power very fast i think.
but first i have to bring some money into the bank instead of taking it out of it.
